
Identify quality problems in solar component production; recommend and implement solutions.
As part of the clean energy economy, Quality Assurance Specialists: Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, or finished solar components; Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on appropriateness of data for release; Write technical reports or documentation such as deviation reports, testing protocols, and trend analyses; Evaluate analytical methods and inspection procedures to determine how they might be improved; Manage internal, third- party, and customer audits; Monitor production operations and equipment to ensure conformance to specifications and make process or assembly adjustments.
