Solar Site Supervisor

Solar Site Supervisors lead teams of PV Installers at a worksite. They motivate and coordinate, keep crews focused and on schedule, verify safety procedures and equipment, and provide quality assurance.

The Solar Site Supervisor is an onsite supervisor who leads small teams of installers and helpers, and usually reports to a project manager or superintendent. Typically working on residential or commercial sites, the Solar Site Supervisors works alongside other team members, reads specifications to determine work requirements, establishes the order of operations, checks tools, tracks installation progress, monitors safety, and inspects and documents work. The Solar Site Supervisor must communicate clearly with supervisors, peers, and subordinates.
